You’ve probably heard the saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”
Heart disease and Parkinson’s are what we call my lemons. I refuse to eat those lemons and stay bitter.
We don’t have a choice in what life hands us. It’s how we handle it that is our choice.

“My journey has placed me in a
pile of lemons where I choose to
make lemonade!!”

I am a born and raised Southern girl from Tennessee. Like a lot of other women, I wear many hats. I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. I was blessed with Christian parents who taught me about the love of God from birth. My hope as I share my life, my thoughts and my feelings with you is that you will see how my faith in God and relationship with Him gets me through the tough times.
“But he said to me ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”
2 Corinthians 12:9
