Thankful

Thankful

As I sit drinking my coffee on this Thanksgiving morning, I’m thinking of my many blessings.  God has been good to me and I have so much to be thankful for.

Today is a day that a vast majority of us will enjoy turkey, dressing, sweet potato casserole, cakes, pies and other family favorites.  Some will watch football and others will play games.  It’s a day of tradition for most, but a sad day for others.   While we celebrate with ones we love, some will experience sadness over the way it used to be before they lost a loved one.

Whatever your day brings, I pray you will look around at your blessings and that your heart will be full of gratitude.  It is in gratefulness that we experience peace and happiness.

I’m Susan

Thank you for visiting my site.

It is with great determination that I am living life to the fullest as I journey through my retirement years with
Heart Disease and Parkinson’s.
I hope you find encouragement as you follow along on my journey.

Motto’s I live by:

  • If you’re living in fear, you’re not living in faith.
  • Today I refuse to stress myself out about things I cannot control or change.
  • It’s hard to have a bad attitude, when you start your day with gratitude.

Favorite scripture:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9 NIV
